Description
Oleanolic acid is a pentacyclic triterpenoid compound isolated from fructus ligustris lucidum. Oleanolic acid exists in many plants as free and ligand. Oleanolic acid exists widely in plants, generally 0.2% ~ 2% oleanolic acid content. Unstable to acids and bases, insoluble in water.
Functions:

2. Reduce the activity of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase in serum: oleanolic acid can significantly reduce the activity of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase in acute, chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis.
