The main active ingredient in perilla leaf extract is rosmarinic acid, which is widely present in various parts of perilla frutescens. The content of rosmarinic acid in perilla leaves is 0.036%-5.476%, and the content of rosmarinic acid in perilla seeds is 0.036%-5.476%. 0.019%-1.03%, the content of rosmarinic acid in perilla stems is 0.01%-0.72%, and the content of rosmarinic acid in perilla roots is 0.025%-0.045%.
