Introduction to Gardenia Extract
Gardenia Jasmindides Ellis is a plant of the Rubiaceae family, also known as yellow gardenia, gardenia, mountain gardenia, water yellow gardenia, etc. Its pigment components are mainly terpenoid crocin and flavonoid gardenia yellow pigment. Sub-pigments can be used to dye fabrics yellow and slightly reddish by direct method. You can also add mordant to dye it into different shades of yellow.
