Description:

Peach seed are oblate or elliptic, one end pointed, the other obtuse round and oblique, thin edge. It is 1.2~2cm long, 1~1.2cm wide and 3~5mm thick. The surface is yellowish brown or reddish brown. There are longitudinal veins and dense fine granular projections. A linear hilum of 4~6mm long is found on the side near the tip, a thin skin, cotyledons hypertrophy, yellow and white, rich in oil and taste bitter.
