Astragalus is a perennial herb, 50-80 cm high. The main root is deep and long, rod-shaped, slightly woody. Dried roots are cylindrical, rarely divergent, thicker at the upper end, thinner at the lower end, flat at both ends, 20-70 cm long, 1-3 cm thick, grayish-yellow or light brown in surface, with irregular longitudinal wrinkles or Longitudinal groove, the gas is weak and specific, the taste is slightly sweet, and there is beany smell when chewing. The flowering period is from June to July, the fruiting period is from August to September, and it is excavated in autumn.

 

Efficacy and function
1. Immunity:
