Description
Spinacia oleracea grows 30 centimeters in height. The leaves are simple, alternate, ovate-triangular in shape and 1-12 inches long which is usually dark green in color. The flowers are yellow-green, inconspicuous and 3-4 mm in diameter. The fruit is a small, hard dry, lumpy which is across 1/4-1/2 inches. The stems are thin, flexible about 12 inches high.
