Angelica sinensis is originally produced in western Asia and cultivated in many provinces and cities in China. Among them angelica from Min County, Gansu province has the best quality. Its root can be used as medicine, is one of the most commonly used Traditional Chinese medicine.
Angelica sinensis extract is a plant extract containing ligustilide, n-butylidene phthalide, ferulic acid, nicotinic acid, sucrose, and a variety of amino acids, as well as sesquiterpenoids. It is used for tonifying and activating blood, regulating menstruation and relieving pain, moistening intestines and relaxing bowel movement, blood deficiency and atrophy, dizziness and palpitation, irregular menstruation, menstrual dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain with deficiency and cold, intestinal constipation, rheumatism and paralysis, bruises and fluttering injuries, carbuncle sores and ulcers.
