Polyporus extract has diuretic, anti-tumor, immune function enhancement, liver protection, anti-radiation and other effects. Mainly treat acute nephritis, general edema, thirst, difficulty urinating, hot stranguria, leukorrhagia, urgency, frequent urination, urethral pain, watery diarrhea due to summer heat, ascites due to liver cirrhosis, etc.
Efficacy and function
1. Anti-tumor effect
Polyporus extract (mainly Polyporus polysaccharide) has a significant inhibitory effect on transplanted tumor S-180 in mice. The tumor inhibition rate reaches 50-70%, and the tumor weight inhibition rate reaches more than 30%. In tumor-bearing mice treated with the extract, about 6-7% of the tumors completely regressed. For the mice whose tumors had completely regressed, tumor cells were reinoculated after 1-6 months, and no tumors grew. In the dose of chemotherapy drugs that do not show anti-tumor effect alone, the addition of an appropriate amount of Polyporus extract will have a significant anti-tumor effect. The number of antibody-producing cells in the spleen of tumor-bearing mice increased significantly, indicating that it can significantly promote the formation of antibodies, and it can also significantly improve the phagocytic activity of peritoneal macrophages in tumor-bearing mice.
2. Enhance immunity
Polysaccharides can significantly enhance the proliferative response of mouse T cells to ConA and the proliferative response of B cells to LPS. It can promote the killing of target cells by the activation of cytotoxic T cells (CTL) by abnormal splenocytes. CTL is an important effector cell of the body's immune surveillance and plays a key role in tumor immunity.
3. Diuretic effect
Polyporus decoction, equivalent to crude drug 0.25-0.5g/kg, intravenous or intramuscular injection, has obvious diuretic effect on non-anesthetized dogs, and can promote the excretion of sodium, chloride, potassium and other electrolytes.
4. Protect the liver
Toxic hepatitis was induced by intraperitoneal injection of carbon tetrachloride and D-galactosamine in mice, and 100-200 mg/kg of Polyporus polysaccharide was injected intraperitoneally before and after induction, and the administration was given every 4, 8, and 12 hours 1 time. All can significantly prevent the occurrence of liver lesions, the activity of SGPT decreases, and the activities of liver 5-nucleotidase and acid phosphaminidase 6-phosphate glucose phosphatase rise. It also has a similar effect in vitro, indicating that it has a significant protective effect on the liver.
5. Anti-radiation effect
Polyporus polysaccharide has the obvious effect of preventing and treating acute radiation sickness in mice.
