Product Profile
Maslinic acid is a triterpenoid found in olive leaves. Due to its significant health benefits and wide range of applications, maslinic acid is regarded as one of the most researched natural active ingredients today. And maslinic acid is included as a prominent active ingredient in skin care products in cosmetics.

Physical and chemical properties
The melting point is 263ºC~265ºC, and the density is 1.14 g/cm3.
Easily soluble in methanol, ethanol, chloroform, etc., but insoluble in water and petroleum ether.
This product should be stored dry at low temperature (2-8ºC). Special products should be stored under nitrogen. If stored for a long time, the content will be reduced.

Function
1. Anti-tumor and anti-cancer: significantly inhibit cell proliferation and cause cancer cell apoptosis.

2. Lower blood sugar: significantly resist the increase in blood sugar caused by epinephrine and glucose, and resist the degradation of liver glycogen caused by epinephrine.

3. Anti-HIV: Inhibits HIV protease activity. At a concentration of 17.9 ug/mL, its inhibitory rate on HIV protease reaches 100%, which is stronger than 85% of ursolic acid.

4. Antioxidant effect: It shows antioxidant activity both in vivo and in vitro.

5. Anti-osteoporosis: Maslinic acid can inhibit the upstream signals of osteoclast differentiation, thereby inhibiting the differentiation of osteoclasts.
