Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) is an annual herbaceous plant of the genus Hibiscus of the Malvaceae family. Plant height 1~2 meters; stems and branches are lavender; the leaves on the lower part of the stem are oval, the upper leaves are palmate, the lobes are lanceolate, the base is nearly round or wide wedge-shaped, both sides are hairless, and the stipules are linear; evergreen or semi-evergreen Shrub; capsule ovoid; seeds kidney-shaped; flowering period from July to October; fruit period from November to December.
