Product Profile
Resveratrol is a natural antioxidant that can reduce blood viscosity, inhibit platelet coagulation and vasodilation, keep blood flowing, and prevent the occurrence and development of cancer.
It has anti-atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, ischemic heart disease, prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia, tumor inhibition, and estrogen-like effects, and can be used to treat breast cancer and other diseases.
It can delay aging and prevent cancer. It is found in red grape skins, red wine and grape juice. Studies have shown that the integrity of chromosomes will be destroyed as humans age, and resveratrol can activate sirtuin, a protein that repairs chromosome health, thereby delaying aging.
Solubility
Resveratrol is an antioxidant naturally found in grapes and red wine, mulberries, peanuts and knotweed. It belongs to polyphenols and is easily soluble in organic solvents and difficult to dissolve in water.
The order of dissolution in organic solvents is: acetone>ethanol>methanol>ethyl acetate>diethyl ether>chloroform.
Extraction Source
Resveratrol is an anthraquinone terpenoid compound, mainly derived from the rhizome extract of Polygonumcuspidatum Sieb.etZucc.
Polygonum cuspidatum: perennial shrub-like herb, reaching a height of more than 1 meter. The rhizome lies horizontally underground, with yellowish-brown wood and obvious nodes. The stem is upright, cylindrical, hairless on the surface, scattered with many red spots, and hollow. Single leaves are alternate, broadly ovate to nearly round, 7-12cm long, 5-9cm wide, short-pointed apex, rounded or wedge-shaped base; petioles 1-1.5cm long, sheathed, membranous, brown, fall early.
The flowering period is from July to September, and the fruiting period is from September to October. It can be dug, cut and dried in spring and autumn. Mostly found in valleys, streams or banks. Distributed in central and southern China, produced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi, Sichuan and other places.
