Product Profile
Trifolium Trifolium Extract is prepared from the dried stems and mosaic leaves of Trifolium Pratense L., and commercial extracts are usually standardized to contain 8%, 20% and 40% hummus. Red clover is an ancient crop, mainly used as feed for cattle, horses, and sheep to increase lactation. Red clover originated in Europe. After it was introduced to the United States, early people used its flowers and leaves to treat skin diseases such as eczema, burns, ulcers, and psoriasis. Westerners usually use its flowers and leaves to make tea or put them in soup because of its It has an antispasmodic effect and can be used for asthma and bronchitis. It is also an anti-cancer drug. Red clover is included in the 1996 edition of "British Herbal Pharmacopoeia" (British Herbal Codex).
Function
1. Phytoestrogen-like effects
Isoflavones such as garbanzolin A and B in Trifolium Trifolium australis extract have estrogen-like effects and have a two-way regulatory effect on hormone levels in the human body: when the estrogen level in the human body is low, the isoflavones in it can provide additional estrogen. Hormone-like effect: when estrogen levels in the human body increase, the isoflavones in it can bind to estrogen receptors and prevent the body's own hormones from binding, thereby reducing estrogen levels.
2. Anti-cancer effect
Red clover extract contains a high concentration of isoflavones, which is a potential anti-cancer drug. A large amount of evidence points out that garbanzolin A and genistein can inhibit the formation of cancer, and isoflavones can reduce the risk of cancer.
3. Antispasmodic effect
Clover Trifolium extract (flavonoids) was administered orally to anesthetized white rabbits, and it was observed that it was effective on small intestinal peristalsis and had a similar effect to acetylcholine in increasing intraintestinal pressure.
4. Hypolipidemic effect
Oral administration, 200mg/kg per day, for 10 consecutive days, total flavonoids can reduce mouse serum cholesterol from 63.0mg% to 32.5-48.3mg%, and liver cholesterol from 2.16mg/g to 1.84-1.85mg/g , reducing serum triglycerides from 8.2 mg/g to 6.7-6.9 mg/g, it can also prevent hyperlipidemia caused by fritoVVR-1339 and the accumulation of triglycerides in the liver and serum caused by ethanol, and inhibit epinephrine-stimulated Lipolysis. 5. Anti-arrhythmic effect: Giving Trifolium Trifolium Extract (isoflavones) 3 to 5 minutes before giving aconitine to mice can prevent arrhythmias. The median lethal dose ED50 is 69mg/kg.
Application
Red Trifolium is very popular internationally, and the original medicinal materials or extracts of Red Trifolium are widely used to treat menopausal syndrome and premenstrual syndrome in women.
Different specifications of Trifolium Redumen extract are also widely used as food supplements, etc. In China, Trifolium pumila is mainly used as pasture or feed. At present, health foods such as anti-aging products have been developed using Trifolium pumila as raw material.
